FRENCH far-right leader Marine Le Pen launched her campaign for the May 26 European Parliament election on Sunday with an appeal to the broad "yellow vest" protest movement which has rattled the government, in a clear bid to heap more pressure on beleaguered President Emmanuel Macron by urging voters to make the poll a referendum on his “incompetent” leadership.
