Upcoming Holi festival dedicated to ‘Pakistan Day’

RAWALPINDI: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a promo video on the eve of Pakistan Day to be observed on 23rd of this month, saying the day will be celebrated with great fervor.

The slogan of the promo song for Pakistan Day Parade is “Pakistan Zindabad”.

On Wednesday, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor had said that Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr Mahathir bin Mohammad will grace the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23rd as guest of honour.

From the official Twitter account of DG Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Ghafoor informed that the Malaysian PM will be the guest of honour while other guests include Defence Minister of Azerbaijan, Chief of Army Staff of Bahrain and government officials from Oman.

Several contingents from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Turkey will also participate in parade of Pakistan Day, DG ISPR added.

It is worth mentioning that Mahathir is visiting Pakistan on special invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan he had made during his visit to Malaysia last year.

Mohamad was formally invited on Nov 29, 2018 by Pakistan to visit the country. Pakistani High Commissioner Nafees Zakaria met the dignitary and delivered an invitation to the Malaysian PM on behalf of the country.
